CONNECT Counselling Services

Offers professional support for those living with mental health issues, addiction, relationships, stress, abuse, and other serious challenges

We provide professional counselling services to Deaf and hard of hearing individuals aged 16 and over, and their families, who are living with mental health issues, addiction, relationship problems, domestic violence or other serious challenges.

What we offer

Our services are free-of-charge, confidential and provided in an accessible environment using American Sign Language (ASL), la langue des signes québécoise (LSQ), note-taking, real-time captioning and amplification devices as required.

We offer counselling, education and advocacy for adults, teens and their families to assist with:

  • depression, anxiety or bipolar issues
  • present or past trauma
  • grief and loss
  • life transitions
  • parenting and family challenges
  • relationship struggles
  • personal development
  • sexuality
  • Deaf identity
  • substance use
  • domestic violence

Our counsellors will work with you to develop a plan of treatment or refer you to other appropriate services as needed.
