Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Service Coordinator – Digital Media Captioning who will be responsible for coordinating sales, marketing and growth of Digital Media Captioning services. This will include investigating, testing and evaluating new captioning technology, conducting market research to identify and develop prospective business contracts within the corporate and government sectors, implementing marketing strategies with new and existing clients, plus preparing sales quotations and proposal and responding to RFI and RFP opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business or project development, as well as 3-5 years’ related work experience (ideally in a healthcare sector) with comprehensive experience in both English and French written texts. You are proficient in ASL, as well as fluent in written English and French, and are completely comfortable working with video and digital media players, closed and open captioning, and time codes. You also have extensive understanding of accessibility regulations (AODA).

This is a permanent part-time position, working three days/week, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
