If you are in an emergency, you can contact fire, police or ambulance through national relay video service (SRV Canada VRS) or Text to 911 (T9-1-1) or Message Relay Centre (MRC)

Allows people to have video conversations over the Internet and is available in 4 languages (ASL/English and LSQ/French). It is open 24/7/365

Text to 911

During an emergency, T9-1-1 provides 9-1-1 call centres with the ability to converse with you using text messaging.  To use Text to 911 you must register with your service provider.
