After a number of intense and productive days of negotiations, the Canadian Hearing Society and CUPE Local 2073 have reached a tentative settlement which both bargaining committees will be recommending to their principals.

Each of the committees worked diligently to modernize the language of the collective agreement and reach a deal of which they can be proud.  The union membership will hold their ratification meeting on the evening of Tuesday, June 26th

The tentative agreement was reached just days after CHS achieved Accreditation status, based on Accreditation Canada’s high standards of care.  Everyone at CHS looks forward to a continued positive working partnership with CUPE in the coming years.
