CHS presents the first accessible mobile home at Fire Prevention Open House

Fire-Safety-Banner-teaserCHS will debut its new accessible mobile home equipped with visual fire alarms and alerting devices at the Toronto Fire Academy Oct 13 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. CHS has participated in several fire prevention events in effort to raise awareness and the importance of visual fire alarms during Fire Prevention week. CHS representatives will demonstrate how the alerting systems devices work in the accessible mobile home.

CHS supports National Video Relay Services in Canada

The Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) announces its support of BC-Alberta Video Relay Service (VRS) Committees' and other provincial VRS action groups' efforts and rallies across Canada on January 13, 2012 asking CRTC not to overlook VRS services and to establish national VRS in Canada.
