General Job Description:

  • Importing, cleaning, transforming and validating data relating to the culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing demographic
  • Assist CHS team in developing methods to collect information by survey questionnaire techniques
  • Assists in the preparation of conclusions and forecasts by analysing and interpreting data summaries; identifying differences in relationships among sources of information
  • Prepares data by computer readouts, graphs, charts, tables, written reports, or other methods

Experience/ Skills:

  • Must be able to work independently
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
  • An interest in and sensitivity to issues related to communication and hearing loss
  • Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, and Access
  • Experience/Education working, generating and validating statistics
  • Must be able to work with confidential information; sign a confidentiality agreement
  • Possess excellent math, organization, research, and problem solving skills

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and various other programmes as needed
  • A satisfactory Criminal Police Information Request ( CPIC) required
  • ASL and French language skills an asset
