As Ontario draws closer to the October 6th provincial election, CHS has prepared a policy document - Toward a Hearing Healthcare Initiative for Ontario

We are:

•    Sending this document to all candidates of the three major parties across all ridings in Ontario
•    Submitting a survey to campaign headquarters to introduce them to our issues and see where they stand

What you can do:

•    Send a letter to the candidates in your riding; see draft letter and resources below
•    Attend all-candidates meetings in your riding
•    Request that debate organizers make all-candidates meetings accessible

Together let’s put hearing healthcare prominently on the radar of the Ontario government.

Letter to Candidates: CHS encourages you to get involved by sending a letter to each candidate in your riding/region that briefly describes the issues related to the culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing Ontarians.

Please feel free to download this letter and either mail it directly to the candidates in your region, or it can be copied and pasted into an email for the candidates in your region.

Find Your Electoral District (Riding):  Not sure which riding you're in?  Here's a website to help you find out.

Candidate List by Riding: In order to find the candidates in your region, please see the link attached, Find Your Electoral District. By providing your postal code or mailing addresses, it will identify your current electoral riding.

Once you have identified your electoral riding, you can open this document, “Candidate Lists by Riding” which identifies the specific candidates for each party by riding. You can then copy and paste your candidates email addresses into the email with the letter and send it directly to them.
