About CHS Barrie

Aucune traduction disponible

The Barrie office of The Canadian Hearing Society was founded in 1977 and was originally located on Bayfield Street.  The office now has three staff members and shares its new location on Cedar Pointe Drive with Deaf Access Simcoe.

CHS Barrie serves the Simcoe County area, which includes Alliston, Barrie, Collingwood/Wasaga Beach, Midland, Stayner and Orillia.   Barrie is a heritage town fifty minutes north of Toronto, along the shores of Kempenfelt Bay on Lake Simcoe.  In addition to the beauty of its surrounding landscape, it is known for its Waterfront Festival and Jazz and Blues Festival and is a popular Ontario travel destination.

CHS Barrie, along with Deaf Access Simcoe, are very active in the local deaf and hard of hearing communities.  The dedicated CHS staff always welcome anyone to drop-in for a visit.
