The Canadian Hearing Society

Individual Giving Print E-mail

Here are just some of the many ways your donation will help people who are deaf, deafened and hard of hearing and their families:

  • Hearing Care Counsellors visit seniors’ homes to teach them how to adapt to hearing loss and stay as independent as possible
  • Videotapes and books assist parents to develop their child’s language skills – either spoken or signed
  • Videoconferencing allows a deaf person in a remote area to meet with a counsellor through an interpreter, both of whom can be in different locations
  • Loaning communication and assistive listening devices helps clients determine what works best for them

For gifts of $40 or more you will receive our magazine, Vibes, where you’ll meet the people you are helping and learn more about issues related to hearing loss.

A tax receipt will be issued for charitable donations over $10.
